Parking options for berth holders and casual parking

Parking for berth holders and visiting boats is available for no charge at the Marina, subject to availability and registration of your vehicle. Public parking is also available for visitors to the Marina, subject to payment of parking fees.

Berth holder parking

Berth Holders can park in all of the parking bays provided, other than the 5 MARINA USE ONLY spaces to the left as you come into the car park.

Car parking for Berth Holders and other registered users of the Marina is at no charge. As access to the car park is by licence plate recognition (LPR) technology, please make sure you have contacted Marina staff to have your vehicle’s licence plate registered in the system before you arrive to use the car park.  If your vehicle is not registered, you will receive a parking fee in the mail.

To Enter –

  • Day light hours (7am to 5pmWinter and 8pm Summer) – The top gate will be open and if you have a green light – drive in slowly, the camera will take a snapshot and raise the bottom boom gate to allow you in.  Pick a park and park as far into the parking spot as possible.  Berth owners please use RESERVED car parks.
  • After hours Registered Vehicle – The top gate will be closed.  Stop at STOP sign.  If you are a registered vehicle, the camera will allow you in and open the gate.  Drive in slowly, the camera will take a snapshot and raise the bottom boom gate to allow you in.  Pick a park and park as far into the parking spot as possible.  Berth owners please use RESERVED car parks.

To Exit – 

  • REGISTERED Vehicle – The bottom boom gate will be down and the light Red – approach the bridge and stop in the designated waiting area marked in yellow/ black.  The camera will take a snapshot to read your licence plate.  Then turn the light at the top red, after five seconds, the bottom light will turn green and open the boom gate.  Drive out slowly.
Casual parking

The Marina carpark is also available for other marina users who are not Berth Holders during daylight hours (i.e., from 7am to 5pm (winter) and 8pm (summer).

Charges apply for use of the car park during these hours ($6 per hour, with a maximum charge of $42).

To Enter – 

  • Daylight hours – The top gate will be open and if you have a green light – drive in slowly, the camera will take a snapshot and raise the bottom boom gate to allow you in.  Pick a non-reserved park and park as far into the parking spot as possible.  Scan the payment QR code to pay for parking.
  • After hours Casual vehicle – no entry.

To Exit –

  • CASUAL Vehicle – Scan the payment QR code to pay for parking if you haven’t already.  The bottom boom gate will be down and the lights red – approach the bridge and stop in the designated waiting area marked in yellow/ black.  The camera will take a snapshot to read your licence plate.  Then turn the light at the top to red, after five seconds, turn the bottom light to green and open the boom gate.  Drive out slowly.

Notes:

  • Our Marina gangway has a weight limit of 3500kgs. Please do not enter if your vehicle is heavier than this. Or try to follow another car onto the bridge.
  • Bridges have ramps and are not suitable for all vehicles.
  • Please obey all road markings and directions when in the car park and only enter or exit on a green light.
  • To Exit – Approach the bridge and stop in the designated waiting area marked in yellow/ black.

 

Paying for your parking

Payment for car parking is managed via a third party application Inpark, and can be made here or by scanning the QR code displayed around the marina carpark.

Once on the payment page, enter your licence plate and follow the prompts.
